Can Povidone iodine mouthwash and nasal cleanse, or hydrogen peroxide, or sodium hypochlorite work to cut risk when exposed or infected with COVID (similar viruses/pathogen)? Yes! 100% CAUTION however

Nathan Jones & I (Nathan is owner/CEO of XLEAR Sinus care, XYLITOL-BASED PRODUCTS) recently discussed use of povidone Iodine etc. ‘as needed’; Commensal bacteria (normal microflora), mucosa
The issue is that the nasal/oral sinus type products he produces (XLEAR) prevent adhesion of pathogen while povidone iodine (PI) etc. destroys. This is critical yet there is risk that you could with prolonged use of povidone or hydrogen peroxide etc., wipe out your good commensal microbiome, good bacteria etc. and this can be problematic. So we are saying optimal use of the nasal oral washes like povidone iodine etc. as effective as they are, needs use ‘as needed’, e.g. if exposed knowingly, or one has symptoms (initial) of COVID etc. These nasal virucidal products across a range of pathogen are very potent yet should be used ‘as needed’ and not as a chemoprophylaxis (preventive). One should not be using these nasal-oral washes 24/7 daily etc. Use as needed. As an example, people I know who developed symptoms of COVID or cold etc. as they used PI, in a matter of hours, were near back to normal. It is very effective.
Nathan Jones educated me on the range of his Xylitol products. I was impressed.

Povidone iodine as a mouthwash and nasal cleanse, or hydrogen peroxide, or sodium hypochlorite, very diluted, swish and spit, nasal spray, no swallow, swish and spit, VERY dilute, can MAJORLY cut risk

What am I saying? People like myself, McCullough etc.? We are talking about very dilute use with water, swish and spit several times per day…sold in the pharmacy OTC…no swallow and also, dip a Q tip in the solution and clean out tip of nostrils (if you can use a nasal spray and then spit it out) as the virus lands there FIRST and hangs around a few days…
